We have been going to Les Girelles for years. The food is always excellent. I decided to reserve via The Fork for lunch and to my surprise when at the restaurant, I was told that the lunch specials had to be ordered in advance. On the fork website there is nothing me turned of the sort. I was told that I should have called before (without knowing their policy had changed). There are a lot of small inattentiond as well. We asked for the dessert and we're again told that for the chocolate dessert we should have said something when ordering our meal ! How can clients already do something they are not aware of ! Again, nothing to say about the quality of the food, but the service could be improved.

Staff were fantastic. I found the menu limited as far as my taste is concerned. We only had a main course as appetisers tend to be too much for us. My husband loves desert, particularly chocolate. The desert menu didn’t include chocolate and wasn’t at all exciting. My husband would go again. I wouldn’t.

Fabulous food. What a charmer. Great location, accessible, attentive staff, and the food was right at the top of anything we experienced in the Marseilles area. Don’t miss this one!
