Dinner was excellent as it always is. Had two times the “Emincee de volaille”.. so delicious and flavorful. Nice to sit at the window and watch the people going by, very nice service. It’s a favorite for us

Food was ok, unfortunately the ambiance and service are not great. We reserved with a 20% discount (advertised as available on all food, excluding menus and drinks). When receiving the bill and asking for the discount we were told that it doesn’t apply to the suggestions either (which should have been specified and seems completely arbitrary).

Great restaurant, ideal place to go on our last night in Brussels. The canard was on spot and the dorade as well. The tarte tatin in the end wrapped it all very sweetly.

Super cozy place, had the lamb with rice and vegetables in an amazing flavorful sauce. My friend had the vegetarian plate, all different little bowls with rice and flat bread. Such nice service and atmosphere, I always make a point to come by when I’m in town

Excellent meal as always. So nice to sit inside even when it’s rainy outside and have friendly service and a lovely meal. My friend had the vegetarian assortment, all little silver dishes beautiful presentation with many different flavors to try. I had the emincee de volaille, which has a sauce that I’d like to bathe in. Just delicious every time. Thank you!

The restaurant is very rustic and reflects typical rating place on the Island of Mauritius. The food and service are excellent, very tasty catering for a whole range of food-lover craving. The restaurant is located in a very central place in Brussels where anyone can go and experience the Mauritian hospitality at a very modest price. There is also a wide range of wine and alcohol to choose from and some of the alcoholic drinks are directly from Mauritius. All in our party had a very great time at this restaurant and would recommend whole heartedly. Well done Les Marmites du Monde.

The food here is incredible. So full of flavor and subtleties. The service is very friendly and the little snacks they provide, the olives and the incredible spicy! green dip with warm bread are a great way to start. Love!

I love this place so much. The food is incredible! The dishes taste as if a hundred spices were seamlessly arranged together, totally unique. Filling, great portions. Sweet atmosphere, nice to sit outside in the summer or cozy inside in the winter. I always look forward to my next meal here.

We left with a bad feeling, we will not go there again. We ordered dishes from the paper menu and from the small black board on our table. When paying, we learned that the 20% reduction only applies to the dishes from the paper menu, not for those from the black board (which is not in line with the text of th reduction in THE FORK). In addition, for one dish, the price on the black board was 13,90 EUR, but we were charged 23,90 EUR and they did not return the money to us. The qualtiy of the dishes was ok, but for the prices paid I had expected that the vegetables are fresh and do not come from the deepfreezer.

This was almost our third time at the restaurant and we specifically expected their Ala carte menu which I even called and asked for before making a reservation, but on reaching there they imposed the 'suggestive' menu and we couldn't order what we wanted so it was a bit disappointing. The quality of the food was still great but for the ones who expected to eat chicken, there were no options like their usual menu. Recommended on days when there is no special occasion!

Very pleasant restaurant in the core of a trendy area. The menu has a large variety of dishes. We opted for the specialities from Mauricius and were very happy. I quite liked their somosas. Nice service and reasonable prices.
