Excellent table and service. The cooking is classic traditional but with flashes of real creativity. Try the Calvados soufflé, a house specialty, for dessert and you will see what I mean. Similarly, the plat was a filet of bar nut with an extraordinary chestnut sauce and celery mousseline. Again very creative and perfectly executed. One criticism. Les Nymphéas is quite an expensive night out, and while the food was outstanding, the price/value relationship will not be to everyone's liking. We'll return but at this price point probably only for a special occasion.
Lovely courtyard at the back and a good menu (but expensive). Only one starter and one main course for vegetarians even though the restaurant described as vegetarian friendly
We expected much more. This is the farthest from a hip restaurant imaginable from the music to the room decor to the food. The food was bland so even those who like music from the 50s would be disappointed. I do not understand how the ratings for this place could be what they are.
Très bon moment, très bon
Parfait A recommander
The food was absolutely terrific -- which is not always the case in tourist-heavy locations. The various prix fixe options all looked wonderful and fairly priced. The setting was beautiful. I highly recommend it.
A first class dining experience with delicious food and excellent presentation. One of their specialties is the calvados soufflé for desert. Don't miss it!Les Nymphéas
We are very happy to have had a good time. The direction
