About the restaurant Les Tommeries - Château d'Isenbourg

Excellent food - and much better even than last year (we were there 12 months ago already) - the fois gras raviole (served warm) is *outstanding*;
We loved the maitre d' and his second in command (same as last year - I consider it a good sign when excellent staff stays for a while) - excellent food recommendations and we felt they geniuinly cared that we enjoyed our dinner
Very good food and wine pairing recommendations by the maitre d' - I took them by the glass as I had to drive afterwards
Tip: Try to get a table outside weather permitting - the view is spectacular
Regarding waiting time: they serve haute cuisine (no fastfood here) - we spent 2.5 hours for a 5 course meal
NB: charming detail, they have (currently) real pate de guimauve (marshmellow) as part of their after dinner sweets - extraordinary (I lived 4.5 yrs in France - it's very hard to get the real thing)
