Freshly cooked turkish fish and meat mainly with vegetable meze and a vegetarian dish of day available. Simply cooked with fresh produce and herbs in a canal side restaurant house with high ceiling and beautiful wood panelling.. Friendly, attentive service.

Top location, great atmosphere, lovely food and friendly staff. We will absolutely go there again. Price and food quality are in balance. The Levant is there!

Cosy restaurant located very close to the Rijksmuseum in the center of Amsterdam. It offers a great variety of typical Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean dishes prepared with genuine and quality ingredients.

Great location, great service, and great food at very reasonable prices. Didn't reality that Turkish food can be elevated this way. Highly recommend the lamb shoulder and of course, the baklava.

The host was great and very nice. Explained to us each dish and the rollout of the food was pretty quick. I'm a happy customer. We had Turkish members at our table and they told us the food was authentic Turkish, which is always a big plus!

We were told we had to buy water & couldn’t have tap water which instantly made me want to buy no drinks. The service was awkward though not terrible. The starters were delicious but a little pricey & the mains were totally disappointing. All in all, not the best experience & definitely not value for money.

The food is amazing! ! Cold starters: bread with gorgous home made hummus. Warm starters we shared the Susamlı Börek (filo with spinach & feta); and Arnavut Ciğeri (calve liver cubes on fried onion) = both were excellent!! Mains we had Kuzu Tandır (lamb shoulder) - super tender off-the-bone pieces, quite rich but delicious. And also the Piliç Pirzola (grilled chicken fillets) which was juice and full of flavour - this was my favourite. They have Turkish wine on menu. Our shiraz was okay: quite sharp and needed to air a bit before it became softer, but okay. Above was about €120 for two. Overall - super eve, definately be back!

Food is good. Location is good. The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the canal. But that seems preserved for groups who drink raki or wine . When we said that we were not going to order raki or wine the host reacted disappointed in a way that we did not feel welcome. To me that is kind of weird and does not fit in the Amsterdam free spirit where everyone is accepted how he is and treated equal. Client is kind. Also the Turkish culture is known for its hospitality . When paying he didn't ask if we had a good time, I gave him a good tip and he didn't say thank you. Nevertheless we enjoyed our meals.
