This is a local gem for those living in Elwood, St Kilda, or Balaclava. It is almost always busy so bookings are recommended even during the week. The food is authentic and invariably delicious. The lab dishes are particularly good and the Efes beer is always good with the food

If I had the choice to select brilliant for the food quality, service levels, and ambience I most definitely would. Cannot wait to get back there. See you again very soon.

Excellent food and service. Very noisy if busy, but there’s outdoor seating if you want to talk with your dinner companions. Wine by the glass is overpriced

We tried the $75 set menu and each course outdid the previous one. So delicious! We also tried the Turkish Rose wine and ended up polishing off two bottles between us all. The staff were super friendly, helpful and the pace between courses was great. I would definitely go back again.

Went there years ago with my family before renovations/change of owner. Took my husband here for the first time together this evening and was extremely disappointed. Terrible service, had a horrible table, very noisy and and food was basic. Will not be returning.

Highly recommended - go taste for yourself. Promise me. Delicious, authentic Anatolian cuisine - the best flavours your tastebuds could ever experience. No exaggeration. Generous serves. Super selection of wines. Outstanding 5 chef service. Can’t wait to go back.

We usually love lezzet, but tonight because we were a large group, we had a set menu. We didn’t love all of the dishes that came out and felt there could have been a few more additions. Also it was very hot and uncomfortable on the chairs tonight. Service was good and the drinks were lovely

Atmosphere and decor is really beautiful. Food was delicious, and good portion sizes. Service was hit and miss. Most times the waiter put the food on our table without telling us what it was and when we asked once what something was he said 'I don't know'. Maybe he was new. A lot of the staffs attention was on a large Christmas group of about 20 people. I would dine here again but maybe after the Christmas rush.

Our special portions were smaller than normal, the service was terrible and some of our side dishes came to the table only after I got up and spoke to the kitchen, when we had all already finished our main meals. Wine slow to be poured. Having said that, food was tasty.

It's the second time we've been to Lezzet. This time it was a booking of 14 for my wife's birthday. The staff went out of their way to help and were very keen to make sure our night went well. The manager (Elyssa?) was a total star and so was our waiter, Mira. The food, drink and service were all top-notch. It is a crowded restaurant and noisy, but that's all part of the charm. We will be returning.

Last time we visited this restaurant about 6 months ago - food tested differently. We usually order the same: a variety of vegetarian dishes. Last time I left a raving review , however this time I was very disappointed. A plate of dips all tested the same - very acidic. Last time we visited - the hummus dip was balanced and melted in the mouth . This time , unfortunately, it was very salty, acidic and sour. Falafels we have ordered were over fried and hard to cut. They were sitting on the same bed of sour hummus. And that’s it. The whole dish consisted of 3 falafels on top of smattering of hummus. At the cost of $15.50. There was no salad or pita bread accompanying that dish. Will not be coming back.

Always a lovely experience at Lezzet. Food was tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. We did not have the set meals but saw next table where a group of guests ordered it. It looked fabulous and wonderful. Something to consider for larger groups.

Food is always fabulous, our waitress was good but getting drinks always takes a while every time we go...little things like they rarely bring you water etc as soon as you sit down. You usually have to ask for it and also ask to order a drink after sitting down, simple thing but you'd think they'd want to sell us wine!. Also find it a bit noisy, not much they can do about it i guess, but the food is too good so you put up with it

Food was really and flavourful, servings were so of good portions. The side dish came out as big as a main, and we were stuffed that night. Cocktails and beers were a little too pricey though, about a couple of dollars more expensive than other restaurants. The dip platter is a must try. Service is speedy and excellent. Nothing to complain about that night.
