Lo Gorrisado is tucked away in woodland.and wewere a little bemused at first .The outdoor eating looked a little untidy but all the tables were well presented with white linen and subdued lighting. As the place filled up it became more atmospheric. The service was good but the was of an excellent standard

Bucolic setting with delicious food and perfect service. We dined outdoors on a comfortable evening, inside has a nice “feel “ to it..

This is an amazing find (and "find" is the operative word...you will need your GPS to easily get to the hilltop location about 15 minutes northwest of Beynac. We did a practice drive the day before, using Google Maps and had no trouble. The reward is a top-level dinner on the Lo Grissando's family farm in a pretty dining room (or outdoors under the trees in warm weather). Almost all their offerings are from the farm or made in house by the family. Our server spoke perfect English and the guests the Sunday night we ate there were a mix of French, British and American "foodies." Our total bill for a wonderful meal (several delicious amuse bouche, 2 entrees, 2 plats and one dessert plus 2 kirs made with their homemade hibiscus syrup, a demi bottle of local Bergerac Rouge and a liter of sparking water was only 77 Euros!!! This is a magical place...don't miss it!

Lovely setting in the middle of a forest. Great price-quality, very good dinner menu for 19,50 euros. All the style of a fancy french restaurant (petit boucher, beautiful presentation of the dishes) but with good sized plates, which is a difficult combination to find. Highly recomendable.

Food was excellent, especially the couchon. Service was friendly and prompt, aside with a bit of confusion with the reservation, which was quickly resolved. Will definitely be back!

A really unique setting and beautifully prepared and served food. Somewhat difficult to find so I would recommend getting good instructions on how to find it.

This was our first visit. We have a fabulous time, and the food was the bests we have eaten all Summer. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves excellent food, great service and a lovely rustic setting way out in the countryside away from it all. Will definitely keep the details to come again.

Excellent setting, wonderful food, good quality wine and charming service. One of the best meals we have had in France.

Dinner here was out of this world--from the service to the food everything was perfect. The owner and hostesss was phenomenal (and spoke great English), chatting with us about the history of the restaurant and where the animals live and food grows. We saved this meal for our last night in the valley, which was such a good decision--the food can't compare to anything else we had while in France. It truly is the best farm to table experience and worth the somewhat unexpected drive back in the hills!

By far this was the best meal of our week in the Dordogne. All four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) were delighted by the food, service and entire experience. The restaurant is off the usual tourist trail, but so worth the effort to find it. The restaurant is small so booking is advised. Nothing could be faulted from the moment we walked in. The quality was outstanding and the service was too. The menu was available in English and gave all four of us a great choice. My teenagers loved it "Best duck I've ever had" and my wife found enough to give her a choice avoiding meat. I simply remain suitably impressed wishing we'd have found the restaurant at the start of our stay.

Let yourself be guided by the patron. The chef's daily suggestions were the best discoveries. The patron also recommended wine (by the glass, so each person would have the best match with each dish) and the choice she made for us was excellent and not pricey. On the down side, the setting and atmosphere is barely satisfying inside (music OK, louder would have been too much, and still one could hear other table's conversations; lighting a bit too intense). Outside must be super by sunny and warmer days!
