Fuimos con una reserva del tenedor, aunque no tenía descuento ni ventaja de ningún tipo. El local es una preciosidad, estilo muy clásico. Las sillas y sofás son comodisimos. El servicio muy educado y atento, aunque a la hora de irnos estaban hablando en barra con una mesa de clientes y nos costó un poco pedir la cuenta. Pedimos varios platos de tapas para comer al centro, ensaladilla, torrezno ahumado(increíble este) y un vicario de calamares. La comida estaba muy muy buena de sabor, y la cantidad apropiada para el tipo de cocina y calidad/precio. El único motivo de no ponerle 5 estrellas es que íbamos exclusivamente para probar un plato que vimos en el tenedor en la primera foto. El plato lo han cambiado en la carta de verano y no se parece en nada(bajo mi opinión). Ir a un local a probar algo que te ha enamorado y que no esté, es un chasco

My friend and I went to do afternoon tea and the experience was lovely! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the presentation of the tiered food and tea was just what we imagined. A great deal for the price and the wait staff (Borja, Dee, and a few others whose names we didn’t manage to get) were so sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back in the future!

We are “Afternoon tea” lovers and have been to many places to try it. The afternoon tea here is the best in Madrid! Definitely we are gonna go back there soon!!

Wow! This is the first thing that I said when I entered in the lobby of the gran hotel inglés. Cross the door is like go back to the '20 but of the last century! The art déco style, the oval bar with it's precious bottles and do not forget about the style of the employees too! Fabrizio made a very delicious cocktail of the new list that they are going to show soon. Gilberto bring it to me with a great smile and also he bring to me delicious snacks. Its a very pleasure speak to LObByto'guys, they explain (obviously without reveal the secret ingredients) the history and the creation of the cocktail. It's like to make a little master class! Can't wait to come back with my friend and why not celebrate a special event!
