For me, it is one of the best restaurants in Algarve. I don't know so well the "Sotavento" but this is one of the bests for sure. The only "problem" is the music, although the music was great - for my taste - the playlist was a bit incoherent, they should pick themed playlists and stick with it for the night.

This restaurant is very good in terms of the deco and food. It serves solely seafood . So be sure this is what you want when you book! Apart from the good food, the most outstanding thing of all is the good service. They were very polite and attentive to the detail! The waiter, Patrick deserves special commendation ! Would definitely come again when back to Faro next time!

Firstly the positives. My trio of oysters were plump and fresh, my large wild prawn was beautifully cooked and the little prawns were moorish. On the negative side I was seated at a high table near the toilets, a display cabinet, waiters station of dirty glasses and a pile of high chairs. I had booked and assumed the free tables were booked before me. Not the case. A couple came in who definitely hadn’t booked (because I heard them say so) and we’re shown to a “proper” table. Also all my food turned up at once when I had asked for it to come in stages and was told “no problem”. It’s a shame as the food was pretty good.

Always good quality sea food and service with a smile.

Seafood heaven, from the tiny shrimps (served as a welcome plate, €2.83), all the way up to as big a lobster as you can afford ! Great house sparkling wine too.

Great food but a slightly confusing menu for the uninitiated. Definitely worth a visit however - don’t forget to order the ‘Ethan’ Mess; it’s pretty damn good.

Great seafood restaurant, reasonably priced. It's not traditional Portuguese cuisine but the seafood is local and extremely fresh. We had oysters and a European lobster, I'd definitely recommend trying both - especially the lobster which, granted, it's a bit pricey compared to other dishes but relative to average lobster prices it's rather inexpensive. And very much delicious. Definitely recommended
