I had a very pleasant time at Lokaal. It is good quality food (very tender and juicy meat and great frites) at a fair price, and the staff were attentive and very friendly. The only downside is that the restaurant is on the quite busy Wiboutstraat, but there is nothing they can do about that. I would go back.

Fun and entertaining place. Enjoyable music, great spareribs, charming staff. Awesome Brooklyn beers and American + local IPA's! 10/10 would revisit.

Went for brunch. Between us we had Eggs Benedict and pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were good although one side a little crispy for me although but not burnt, happily. Eggs Benedict was excellent. In summary, nice place and great food. Recommended.

We had the mixed grill , the short ribs and pumpkin soup. The Soup was really salty, but his may be just our preference. The meat in the mixed grill was nothing special. Not bad, but not special.

Great hostess and really nice food. After watching a grand musical Priscilla in Carre, we headed to HET LOKAAL Restaurant and was enthusiastically met by our very lovely host Mariah.
We used the Iens-AH restaurant zegels and they give us a lovely set 3 gangen set menu with 2 choices for each course.
We were however told by Mariah that we can also choose from the Normal Menu Card. Wow, we did not expect that .
In the end only 3 from our group 13 choose from the Menu Card and the rest took the offer from the especial menu.
I got the spareribs which are greatly marinated and a bit on the sweet side. Love it. I also get to try Entrecot from my sister and it was perfectly cook as requested ( medium rare ).
The best part... the dessert. OMG. It was heavenly. Everyone seems to have tried all in offer, from the Italian Pannacota, Red Velvet, Cheese cake and Choco fudge. We voted and it was 50/50 decision, the best desserts are Pannacota & Red Velvet.
All in all, a great place to have dinner with friends.

Food was OK, service was really bad. It cost us 1 hour until we receive our food. We ordered some drinks when we arrive, the waitress said she would come back to us with the menu but I did not see her at all afterwards. We asked two different waiters to get the menu thanks to god 30 minutes after we were able to order the food...Won't be back again.

Friday chilling restaurant, love the rustic decoration! It's a smart idea to split restaurant and bar, when we were there last friday, a big group's farewell party in the bar area, however we sit in the table area perfectly cheerful and you can absolutely window watching every passenger on the street. Food was pretty good, we are meat lover, so the NY burger suits us very well :) ordered 2 bottles of chilian red wine, tastes very good! maybe the owner is american? but we definitely felt their menu has a lot of American specialties. I for sure will go back and bring some friends for a drink after work!
