Amazing service. We felt very well taken care of. Great ambiance and the food was of great quality. Different flavor combinations on all the plates we tried. Loved the presentation on the plates too. We ordered individual plates, not from the fixed menu since our palates are different and we had one vegetarian in our group. There were plenty of options for all. We loved the warm peanut sauce with the complimentary shrimp and vegetarian crackers.

We had wine and champagne with our meals and although the prices for the drinks were decently priced, the amount of alcohol served was well below half the glass. Everywhere else we had alcohol in Amsterdam it was above half a glass.

I’d highly recommend the restaurant and will comeback again.

Very good, extensive 'rijsttafel' with all original Indonesian dishes. No westernized blends.

A number of people recommend that we make an effort to eat at an Indonesian restaurant while in Amsterdam so we choose Long Pura based on by proximity to our location and the ratings on Trip Adviser. The restaurant is small and cozy and because of it's reputation, reservations are a must for weekends. It was filled to capacity and service was very slow. My wife was very hungry and getting a little annoyed, but when her dish finally arrived, she was delighted and said it was definitely worth the wait...so by that factor along, I'd consider Long Pura to worthy of a 5 star rating.

Followed recommendations online and was not disappointed. We would probably have walked past it without even noticing. The food, service and atmosphere made for a lovely evening. We chose the 25€ pp rice table and there was more food than we could eat. Plenty of bars in this area for a drink too

Our Reistafel was good. There price was acceptable (from 25-45 euro per person). We asked for it to be mild and it was (mostly). The service was professional. Everything was fine. I would return.

Lovely people and an interesting menu. Well presented.
Strangely it wasnt spicy enough for me! Maybe they have tuned down the spice for tourists.
The satay sauce had a bit too much dark soy in it for me. But I am a bit overly into satay so can be a bit too critical.
It was a super meal and we really enjoyed it. A must do when you are in Amsterdam
