5.5/10We were quite disappointed with our visit here while we were on holiday. It was planned as a special treat and fell short in a few places. On being seated we were away from the main part of the restaurant along with one other couple and the ambience was soulless. We went with a wine pairing and found this to be lacking, the wine did not complement the food on a couple of dishes. For one course the waitress forgot to tell us about the dish and we had to ask. Most courses seemed to have onions in them. Overall not the Michelin experience we have had at other establishments. Felt like poor value for the price.

The menu offered a large variety of beautifully decorated dishes which all tasted delicious. Also the wine pairing was well chosen. One minor point was that the explanation was sometimes difficult to understand. Luckily the menu was available via the QR code. All in all a great experience.

+7Myself , brother and sister in law took my mum here for her 70th. The service and the meal was outstanding. Everything tasted lovely and the service was with Michelin precision. The only part I felt was a bit disappointing was that there was no physical paper menu. We had to QR code the menu. We soon forgot about it when we tasted the food but it would have been nice to have a proper menu.

10/10The ambiance was picture perfect and each course was delectable . We especially enjoyed the creative combinstions like the coconut ice cream with a citrus miusse and a seaweed wafer. Magnificent. The service was polished . Our only negative comment is that we were served the same wine twice in the wine pairing. And that we were served a very light white wine with the boldest dish in the menu, goat in a dark robust sauce. The two did not complement eachother at all Other than that, we thought our meal was outstanding.

5/10I found it unworthy for a fine dining restaurant to find digital menu only. In a pub or a fastfood place you may use your phone to see menu, order and know what your going to eat/drink. But not in a Michelin restaurant. Also some of the waiters english accent was so bad that it was hard to understand them whem presenting the different courses. A written menu would have been helpful.

10/10In all our visits to Playa de Mogan we have always wanted to eat here. We weren’t disappointed at all. The staff were wonderful, the food was absolutely delicious and each course was a work of art on the plate. It’s easy to see why it has its star. I do have one moan though. I detest QR code menus! I tried using my phone but the WiFi in the hotel is so cranky that it wouldn’t load properly on my phone and even the part page that did load had writing that was so small on a busy menu page it was impossible to read. The staff did bring me a tablet and even then it was hard to follow. The pages wouldn’t jump to the wine list and again the font size was so small I couldn’t read what each course actually was on the menu. This is the first Michelin Star restaurant I have been to with digital menus. As I say I’m not a fan. Just because we can doesn’t mean we should! (I should point out I’m not an it Luddite! I manage several websites and have a very online home setting.) Anyway the food is the important part. It was awesome.

This was the second time we have been and the food was just as delicious as the first time. However, we were rushed through our courses and would have had little time to savour each course if we hadn’t deliberately slowed ourselves down. The wine pairing servings where nowhere near as generous as last time which was disappointing. The ambiance was a little too formal and could have been relaxed a little more. Over all a pleasant experience but will think twice about going again as there is a lovely french restaurant in the port that also offers a taster menu with wine pairing which was a lot more fun.

8.5/10The food is just sublime with quite exquisite flavours presented in a simply memorable fashion. The array of appetisers, cutlery and crockery is worth the visit alone but, of course, the food is the star of the show. Ambience is lovely on the terrace and the staff of course very attentive but their carefully rehearsed script could be a little less robotic and more engaging - minor gripe. We have stayed at the Cordial Playa hotel before and eaten at this restaurant on several occasions over the past few years - it remains one of our very favourite restaurants with the flavours experienced difficult to rival. Will return whenever we return to Puerto Mogan - a truly memorable experience and worth every euro... not to be missed.

8/10Definitely worth a one off visit to experience the high end food. We opted for the classic menu and drinks package. The food was good and interesting. Not too keen on the wine choices. Service was excellent. Felt somehow that the restaurant lacked character and feel.

9.5/10Food, wine pairings and service were all top tier. Not the most inspiring interior, but the area of Puerto de Mogan is lovely and would recommend Los Guayres as a highlight of any trip to Gran Canaria.

10/10Los Guyares was a very positive experience. No weak dishes. The entire straff was calm and proffesional. No stress and no worries. Just good food combined with good parings of Wine. If you are in the neighborhood - make a visit. You want be disapointed????????

10/10Love everything about this smart restaurant and always book a dinner when we holiday in Puerto Mogan. This is our first post COVID trip, and wish that the restaurant had at least one printed version of their excellent wine list, looking at it on someone's phone spoils the pleasure of looking through the choices. I don't think having a single copy would be so impossible, would it? laminate it if you want, we don't need a leather bound one, but if you take only cash tips, ( we were told it was not possible to add them to our card payment) then that seems at odds with avoiding paper.

9.5/10Beautiful location and good service. Food quality and presentation excellent. I can really appreciate the hours and skill which must have gone into the preparation. The downside was the food ,whilst looking fantastic, tasted very bland (and I don't like spicy food) just felt more seasoning was necessary.

10/10Had an amazing experience. Sat outside on the balcony and chose The Classic tasting menu with wine pairing. Each course was immaculately presented and tasted delicious. It would be difficult to choose a favourite. Portion size was just right for the number of courses we had. Service was second to none. Would highly recommend for a fine dining experience.

10/10Very good restaurant that has fantastic dishes. You can choose from 3 different tasting menu’s. Staff very friendly. One minor point: the wine is not explained very well because we think their English is difficult or they think that we are not interested!!

10/10The variety of the dishes was exceptional as was the presentation and in particular the colours - the last dish basil ice cream and white chocolate and cactus flower mousse was stunning. The wines were excellent also. The staff explained the content of each dish and information on each wine thoroughly. The ambience was formal but not overly so and the staff were approachable and personable. The restaurant is located in a stunning hotel. An end to end thoroughly enjoyable and memorable dining experience.

9/10Me and my spouse had a great food and wine experience this evening. We have been to several Michelin star restaurants and would say that this experiences in terms of food and wine has been one of the best. The only little negative is the ambiance inside the restaurant (outside is great). The lighting is to bright and it feels "cold" inside the restaurant. So if you can, sit outside and bring a sweater in case the weather isn't perfect :) Thank you for a lovely evening, something we will remember for life!
