Luca's Rooftop Restaurant

Food was superb. Fabio and the rest of the staff were amazing and made fantastic recommendations and made the effort to speak in Spanish and English. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We paid £29 for the seafood pasta which seemed like some cheap macaroni with tomato sauce. The dish was filled with bones and shells so I had to struggle just to eat each mouthful (dangerous if someone choked) and I was constantly picking bones out of my mouth. There were some jelly things in it that could not be eaten. The presentation was nice but food disappointing. Also, the starter was pâte which came from a jar instead of being home made and instead of coming with the bread - they charge extra for two small rolls. However, all the waiters were nice, polite and professional...

Very impressed with the Covid care. Lovely evening. Superb service and so friendly. Recommend the Tomahawk steak to share delicious and great red wine recommendation. Lovely view will come back.

Fabulous roof top restaurant with amazing sea views. Food was excellen, we went for the lobster and monkfish and prawn kebab. Generous portions and the service was great. Our temperatures were taken on entrance and hand sanitiser administered. We had a wonderful 1st time experience here with a beautiful sea view, and will definitely be returning to try out the pre-order special seafood rice.

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea, great food and service. We had fried shrimp, cataplana and baba de camelo for desert and it was very tasty. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming and we were very luck to see the full moon rising from the sea!

Wonderful spot, great views, staff were superb. Is a little out of town but don’t let that put you off. Despite it being quite a smart restaurant the staff were very accommodating of us bringing a 2 & 4 yr old with us for an early dinner.

Excellent and friendly service. Food very good, at prices in line with setting & quality of venue. We had a very good table with nice sea view as requested, but the overall view not as good as expected based on reviews we had read. Very thorough in precautions for managing Covid-19, including thermal temperature check on arrival.

Great views and service. Food was also very good, we ordered grilled fish and pasta with shrimps. We spent the day in praia Dona Ana and had lunch there, good choice!

The restaurant is set in a beautiful location and has great views. However, the food was very average unfortunately, the vegetarian options were poor - I didn't even finish my main because it wasn't great and we went for food afterwards elsewhere. Not a good choice if you're an animal lover as they have one of those sad tanks with live lobsters inside so people can see them before they are basically killed for their meal which was off putting. The service was good, the staff were friendly. Would recommend for drinks only and not for food.

A little bit too pushy in upselling (lobster, crab,...) and service was too quick. Wine was already served during aperitif.

Wonderful ambience, food and service!

We went to Luca‘s Rooftop Restaurant for a romantic dinner during our vacation. The food was very good, especially the seafood was delicious and really fresh. But the two main reasons we will definitely make time for another visit are the spectacular view of the Atlantic coast and the super friendly, funny and very attentive staff. We felt comfortable the whole time and look forward to our next meal!

The food was delicious, and the service was hilarious. Our waiter was really funny and joked a lot but very attentive and gave us excellent recommendations for food. We were stuffed full of seafood and thought the bill was going to be huuuuge, but it was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the Luca's special black angus steak but my husband's salmon was very over seasoned with salt. The cocktails were very good, especially the espresso martini.

Fantastic food and lovely views.

Overall, the waiting staff didn’t seem vert efficient. I had water from the ice bucket poured over me and the table, the couvert was forgotten as were my husband’s side of chips to go with his steak. Trying to be high end restaurant but needs improvement.
