Excellent service and cuisine! Samantha and Angie teamed up to provide the best service ever! The merluza and the bacalao with Biscaina sauce were our choices, plus the grilled scallops as appetizer. The local version of cheesecake with strawberry coulis is not to be missed. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

The food was average overall, and the cod extremely salty. I've had much better Basque cod elsewhere. I would not recommend this restaurant just because you'd probably get better value for your money at other restaurants.

We received a warm welcome and staff were lovely and attentive. We shared the tuna which was delicious and I had the steak which was also good and my husband had the monkfish which he enjoyed. Food came very quickly. Finished with tart tatin which was decent not the best.

We had researched the restaurant as there were a few of our group that were vegetarian/vegan and they stated that they provided options, in reality they just removed either cheese or a fried egg so a bit disappointed The food was ok but nothing special and very rushed as if we were the last table and they wanted us out ( booking was 8pm) Cost was reasonable

Amazing bistro style restaurant above a tapas bar (the pintxos loos amazing!). Was a bit unsure about where we'd sit when we walked in, but the restaurant is upstairs, and really charming. Staff were super helpful and attentive and food was SPECTACULAR. Warning - we had a starter each, and there was SO MUCH food. We'd definitely share when we go again. All in all a brilliant find.

We were supposed to be upstairs in the restaurant, but were told it was closed when we arrived. Why we weren't told beforehand, I don't know. We should have left, but decided to stay. One starter course was good but everything else was poor. The service was good, as was the wine. But that was it. Very disappointing.

Small but agreeable restaurant. Book because it gets busy and we noticed many disappointed people walking in and asking for a table. There was one guy who seemed to be doing everything, taking orders, serving, clearing, manning the bar and he deserves a medal. We left him a huge tip for his sterling hard work

This little gem of a restaurant is hidden away in the side streets near the cathedral. It is most unprepossessing at first and I wasn’t sure if it was the same restaurant as in the listing. We were warmly greeted and taken to our seats. A EUFA football qualifying match was going on which was loud but did not spoil the ambience. The vegetable tempura was delicious but the pieces of rump steak were on another plane along with the baked cheesecake and sangria.
