Couldn’t secure a reservation anywhere else but we sure lucked out with Lusi! Fabulous! Salads were fresh, tomato soup creamy, snails had the right mix of garlic and basil. Pork cheeks were tender, beef filet cooked perfectly with divine au poivre sauce. Got fooled on the tarte—thought it was quiche, turned out to be a flat bread pizza. Two of us split it and we still had leftovers. Great atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food—-all in all a great find!

We’ve spent a lovely time there. Food was good. Service was excellent with a special thank you to Plama, our waiter. That’s a place everyone should visit in Zermatt after a great ski day.

We came to the Lusi on a Sunday lunchtime. A welcome worthy of a palace, great helpfulness and professionalism of the two people who served us (Anna, the trainee, smiling and efficient and Plama, the waiter, particularly professional and friendly). We chose a salmon tartar of great freshness and delicately seasoned, a wienerschnitzel - the best of my life- all in lightness and subtlety, and a niçoise salad interpretation of this great classic, particularly refined. The dessert was a mille-feuille, light, crispy, with a deep vanilla taste, again the best of my life (lucky day), which was above anything I have ever tasted, even in Paris). The decor is what you would expect from a great historic alpine hotel, cosy and subtile. You will feel immediately at home. Go for it!

The staff was very nice and welcoming. We were served quickly. And the food was fresh and good quality. We took the curry potage, eggplant tartare and Toblerone mousse!

Very nice evening, atmosphere very cosy and staff perfect and funny,. Food and wine excellent. The wine choice could be bigger especially for bottles.

Great menu, great food, great presentation, great service. Unfortunately for us, this was blemished by the policy of allowing smoking outdoors which seems to be all too common in this beautiful country.
