Host seated us and seemed annoyed when we ordered beer instead of wine.

Waiters were nice. Food delivery very slow. First courses were excellent. Tasting spoons and lobster bisque. The bisque was thin but rich and tasted of good stock (lots of shells in the stock pot I’m sure. Delicious). The serving style (poured over a moulded serving of lobster risotto, was nice theatre. The lobster was sweet and salty and the risotto’s starch was a perfect textural element. Carpaccio of beef was clumsy and truly terrible. Flavourless beef served with a huge amount of palate killing salty cheese and insipid pesto. tasted only of over salty pesto and not at all of beef. . The Tatar was better. The “candied peel” veal was well cooked. Each element was treated well. But it was only served with a salty gravy. Again, very one note. (I don’t know why it is called candied peel as there was no candied peel or anything like it in the dish; it tasted of salty gravy only). Creme brûlée wellexecuted though oddly paired with garnishes that did not marry. Lemon meringue was beautiful to look at. The curd and meringue were very delicious but cake was pedestrian and had a stale aftertaste. Cappuccino was superb.

The chef has great technique but Critically oversalts and overpowers dishes. I would not eat there again.

Really nice and friendly service, but unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food, which arrived cold.
Also rather small portion for the price.

Leuk restaurant met vlotte sympathieke bediening. Bediening heeft oog voor de gasten en laat je zorgeloos extra van de avond genieten. Gerechten zijn lekker en hebben hun eigen touch. Sfeer en muziek zijn goed, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

We found Lux by looking for a place to eat on Monday evening. They had a high rating so we just went for it. Good ambiance to start with. Wine list with good value for money. We picked a 41 euro Puilly Fumé that tasted just right. As starters the Gambas, St ask tartare and the bisque. All good but the bisque was perfect. All of us chose the classic lobster. Perfectly cooked with a good rouille. Service was attentive without being too present. All I all a great evening and I can definitely recommend Lux. We will be back!
