9.5/10+10Excellent food, the chef is really talented, it was great experience except that I was surprised that the bread, the water and the coffee was added as extras on the invoice. Not usual for this type of restaurant, but the service and the food was excellent. Beautiful experience to be done again

7/10Food was what you expect of a 2 star Michelin. Service was ok but not outstanding, when asked to slow down the service, as the dishes came in a quick succession, they said ok however 1 min later the next dish arrived. And 30€ for a glass of average Ribera del Duero is just not acceptable. I asked for the wine list as they have glasses at “only” 25€ but was served a glass without any consultation for which they charged the said 30€.

7/10This was disappointing. After having been to MB’s flagship restaurant in San Sebastián and enjoyed it very much, we were looking forward to this meal - but in the end it was very expensive and not very notable otherwise. While a couple of the dishes were good, the majority were not interesting in terms of taste or texture. It is hard to know whether this is because this is an “outpost” that is getting less attention or this was just an “off” date or team - but ultimately, I would not recommend eating here: there are much better meals to be had nearby, for a lot less money (including at the great “Kabuki”, also at the hotel).

6.5/10Such a pity because it started splendidly and slowly whittled away both food and service wise as the kitchen sent the wrong dish in and then we waited for a good 30 minutes for the next meAT course. The desserts were super ordinary and the chef passed by but could not be bothered to listen to any comments.

10/10+6When in Tenerife you cannot not visit one of spains most talented chefs, I’ve been to some of his other restaurants in San Sebastián and Barcelona and just had to visit this one. Wow this place does not disappoint, from start to finish the food and service is impeccable, MB is such a creative chef giving you food that just makes you want more, this place is super romantic and is a must! Thank you to all the team for giving us amazing memories.

6.5/10We’re welcomed by the smell of chlorine at the, otherwise scenic, entrance under the cascade. The ambiance is that of a luxury hotel but with no specific soul. The presentation of the dishes was excellent but we didn’t enjoy the acrobatics between sweet and salty or the excess of acidity on the tuna tartare. The service was only asking if we enjoy the plate but withou caring about our reply. For us is overrated and the two stars questionable

9.5/10You expect excellence at two star level and this lovely experience delivered it. Everything about our evening was a delight, from the elaborate dishes created on which to present the elaborate dishes, to the depth of knowledge and taste of the excellent sommelier. My wife and I have different palates so chose to eat al la carte, rather than sample the extensive tasting menus. So many sensations - my exquisite little tartare on a brioche bun topped with herring roe being' just' an amuse bouche. Squid cooked al dente and presented as if it were pasta was a triumph of complex cooking. My hake was beautifully paired with Iberian pork for intense taste - two complementary meaty textures. Spanish wines delighted and the beautifully constructed apple tart with cloud-light chantilly cream so cleverly recreated a classic. The surroundings are elegant rather than intimate, as befits the hotel setting. The cooking, though, would be at home in any company.
