Little gem in South Croydon. Not overly expensive, in fact, very reasonable, both food and drink prices. Especially pleased to see so many vegan choices (not for me, I had tasty goat) but for my dining partner. Let down a little by the limited choice of drinks and the fact that it shut at 10pm. Another in the trend of adding on a service charge, which I am not a fan of, but over all, a pleasant evening.

The food was amazing, really delicious and well presented. The service was great and the chef came over to say hello. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a bit of spice. It's great value for money.

The Foods are very nice, staffs are polite and friendly. Unfortunately some of our orders are not available including beer, it is quite unusual to run out of bottle of beer, and service was a bit messy, main is coming with starter (this is sorted with other staff) etc. Overall, food is just great, definitely going back this place very soon.

Service was good and with a smile. What needs to be put right- tables need to cleaned or replaced as they were uneven and tacky to the touch. Quality of the food was middle of the range, nothing to talk about or recommend. Management could be a bit more friendly and welcoming like the young waitress. All in all we would give a rating of 5 out of 10.

Food was, good and very tasty. Every dish was, consistent and correctly served. Need to have more waiting staff as we had to wait long intervals even to get drinks or get dessert menu.

I had my birthday celebration at Machan Kitchen, we had a great time. The food was very tasty, it was hard to choose from the tempting menu. Lavinia coctail was excellent, and the salad also. Devilled chicken and the goat did not disappoint either. Very kind staff, we were not hurried along at all like any other place. Brought out the birthday cake and even provided plastic boxes, so I could take the cake away. Overall, very nice experience and we'll be back to try more authentic dishes from the menu
