Always have an amazing meal at madame cheung. One of my favourite restaurants I have ever been too. I highly recommend it.

We love coming to Madame Cheung, it is one of our favorites in Hoorn. The service is always fast and pleasant, we arrived and were quickly helped to our tables. The amuses were deliciously served with a very nice truffle mayonnaise, crispy red beets and a lovely pork bouillon. I had a dim sum for starters which was really good, I loved the spicy pork, the creamy prawn and the sweet crab. My husband had the beef Tataki and he could have had more of it, he said the portion was a bit too small but very tasty nonetheless. We both ordered the Wagyu for the main course and it was again amazing... Although we expected a bit more on the side like rice, chips, vegetables or a mash. The plate did have a bit of a mash and a rice roll but it could have been a bit more as the plate is already pricey (28 Eur). It seems Madame's Cheung portions are getting smaller and smaller. We shared the Grand dessert and the amount was just perfect for the two of us. I was very curious to try out the creme brulee with Thai basillicum and I wasn't disappointed. The tropic ice cream combination was also very amusing. I just didn't like the black rice pudding, but I can imagine some people might. We crowned our night with a glass of deliciously sweet Porto wine. We look forward to coming to Madame Cheung in the future again.
