5.5/10Starter was good as was sweet. Main course of beef tenderloin medallions, although cooked as asked for, was awful. Hard to cut and even harder to eat. Lady at next table had to get her husband to cut hers! Did complain and got a discount. However as this was a New Year’s Eve special, it was extremely disappointing.

7.5/10Food was excellent and well presented. Mackerel my wife chose was accepted then waiter came back and said it was not available. The impression was they were pushing the Sea Bass which was fish of the day. The toilets used by this restaurant were in adjacent mall and were foul smelling, no toilet seats or hand dryer working . Had to dry hands with toilet paper. Absolutely disgusting.

7/10Service was friendly but slow. They appeared understaffed. Wine was excellent. I asked for medium rare lamb. It came as medium well done. My vegetables were over cooked, potatoes were fine. Pudding was great.

9.5/10Young man who served us was very professional. We asked for our food to be prepared in a certain way and this was no problem at all for the restaurant. My chicken was delicious, my husband enjoyed the lamb chops. The vegetables were nice, the sautéed potatoes were the best we have had during our time in Funchal. Red wine very nice too. Price very reasonable. Would recommend!!!

10/10Great, tasty food, beautifully cooked and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant evening. I chose steak in a delicious sauce with couscous and vegetables. It was a generous portion and the steak was tender and cooked exactly as requested. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.
