We booked this restaurant for the terrace views overlooking the water. We were notified that the terrance opened back up at the end of March. However, when we got there, we were not told that the terrace was closed due to the weather and we sat inside which to me only had a handful of families and was very quiet. Some mode music would have made it feel more relaxed instead of awkward sitting there, The food was good however, later that night, I did get food poisoning and the only thing I ate that my husband did not was their special for that night- pasta with mackerel. We would not have minded the heavy bill at the end if we got the experience we were looking for, but we sadly did not. Again, I wish someone had reached out about the Terrance being closed. We did not even get a notification about our upcoming reservation either.

Awesome time, we showed up a day earlier than we were supposed to and they were able to get us in and offered us a boat ride back to center of Positano

Amazing place! Amazing food!! Great service! The view is perfect. Love all of it. The rissoto was great, allows the cocktails and the desserts.

The food was great. We ordered the burrata salad and it was amazing, as well as the spaghettis. Upon arriving we were told our table was not ready for 5 minutes and therefore, we sat and had some drinks in the bar. They were good, but nothing great. Over an hour later we asked if our table was ready and they told us another 5 minutes before moving us to our table. Our view was stunning as expected, but the services was beyond terrible. We asked for a white wine recommendation, and let the server choose one for us as there was a large selection. She then came back and told us they were out of that one, so she offered us another option… that they were also out of. After finally getting our bottle of wine (by now we had been at villa treville for 2.5 hours) we ordered buratta salad and spaghettis. They were good, but once again… nothing amazing (apart from the tomatoes which were very very fresh!!) Multiple times we had to fill our own glasses. We wanted to order dessert but nobody asked, instead they just cleared the table without asking if we enjoyed or wanted anything else. We then asked for the cheque… and waited almost 45 minutes before someone came up and offered us dessert. We informed him we wanted to leave and had asked for our cheque nearly 1 hour ago and then waited another 20 minutes before getting up to go find someone to pay. So all said and done our dinner took 5 hours. We previously were interested in hosting our wedding at villa Treville but after this terrible experience I am no longer interested due to the beyond terrible service I experienced. It was also very clearly a birthday dinner and nothing special was done for us (I have eaten at many Michelin star restaurants and they always do something special). I would not go back and will not be recommending it to my friends and family who frequent Positano and the amalfi coat in general.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Maestro’s Terrace! We had a fantastic time. We visited for my birthday and I couldn’t have spent it in a more beautiful place. It’s heaven on earth and the food is delicious. Many thanks once again!
