    Don’t have the fish! We arrived to a lovely venue. Chatted to a very nice waiter and placed our order. We shared the boar pate to start. We sat with the empty plates for 30minutes while other tables were served their starters and then their mains. Our seafood platter finally arrived but all our starters were stil sat there. It was clear after a few bites that everything was overcooked and the whole thing had been sat on the pass for a while. After 15-20 minutes the waiter finally realised we weren’t eating and asked if there was

    The setting of this restaurant is magnificent. From the moment we entered the place, summer in a Saturday at 8pm it was clear that two people manning the place was going to be a struggle. Whilst the first courses were absolutely fine, we had to wait for over an hour between first seconds. Being this a meat restaurant, we were highly disappointed to see our seconds, largely stakes coming out of the kitchen cold, overdone and hard. Not the sort of meat quality you’d expect from a specialist meat restaurant. Fries were dark brown on the outside but I cooked on the inside, sign that kitchen was under pressure. Only 4 fries portions came with 5 steaks with the last portion coming towards the end of the meal. All in all a big distance from the 9.3/10 we went for as we did not know the place and clearly not worth the 210 Euro we spent for 6 people.

    It's a lovely restaurant, very much off the beaten track and as such a lovely find. The garden is beautiful and covered so we deiced to eat outside for our evening meal but there is also the option of eating inside.

    Nice little place hidden from the main streets. We had a great time in the internal courtyard of this restaurant where home produced food is everywhere. A good card of wines, some nice plates to share with friends and delicious dishes, the friendly atmosphere and the possibility to have a overview of the kitchen and the Chef at work. Good job !
