La toque nippone Sota Atsumi était discrètement devenu un chef passionnant à surveiller au Clown Bar. Il est désormais installé dans sa propre Maison, située dans une ruelle charmante du 11e arrondissement, pas loin du Père Lachaise. Et oui, on est ici dans une charmante maison de ville, avec ses tomettes, des volumes impressionnants et une mezzanine avec une table d’hôte interminable et les cuisines. En menu unique, on se laisse diriger par le chef, de l’amuse-bouche au dessert. D’ailleurs on se régale dès les premiers, des tartelettes, oignon et ricotta fumée ou champignon et bonite. Sota aime aussi décliner les produits, comme la seiche, d’abord crue avec laitue et pesto, la tentacule avec du lard et l’encre avec des champignons. Un virtuose, et une élégance imparable.

Comme beaucoup de ses confrères, le chef affectionne la viande de choix, par exemple du bœuf de Galice maturé poêlé puis cuit sur charbon binchotan.

    Everything was perfect except for the cooking smells and fumes that got stronger and thicker as the meal progressed. Better to sit downstairs where it is cooler and further away from the open air kitchen. They need to invest in a much stronger extractor.

    The service is really nice ! The atmosphere is cool ! The kitchen is good but not excellent . I think the pastry is the best ! each dish lacked that flavor that could lead the customer to come back another time. it was not a bad experience, but it will not be an experience that I will try again or recommend
