Outside is deceiving. Inside is clean, modern and spacey. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Food was value for money. Nicely presented and dessert was tasty. Would definitely go back and recommend to visit.

Enjoyed the lamb roast better last time. Not keen on the cauliflower dish. It would be nice to have the option of other meats, such as beef or pork. Great service and value for money.

Pleasantly surprised- great last minute find for Christmas Day lunch. First time and did not disappoint from quality and portion size of food and presentation to excellent service from all staff and great ambience and clean toilets and great decor. Returning with party of 10 to bring all the family!

Quality of sirloin has declined compared to previous visits. Manager gave us a discount and apologised. What a shame as we loved their sirloin on a hot plate with pepper sauce with thick chips but now there’s no sauce and the chips were replaced with new potatoes :-(

Malt & Hops is such a lovely place from the minute we walked in to the minute we left the service and friendliness of the staff was spot on, excellent customer service , food delicious and very clean family run pub, definitely will be again !
