Mamma Mia Ristorante & Pizzeria

Pizza was good, but the pasta dishes were average. Service was really friendly but because it was busy it took some time to get our orders and we had to ask for some things more than once.

For a set menu it was a little slow in the service during the lunch hour. Since you expect to be quick because of work is a little step back in the review. But the food was good and everyone was nice!

With so many uber eats orders the customers in the restaurant where waiting long fornthr food. Good food and nice atmosphere.

Everything was really nice and the wine was a good price. Our only note was that the gratin pasta bolognese dish, although pleasant, was more like a creamy mushroom and cheese dish than a bolognese dish. Will come again.

Our St. Valentines dinner started off really nice with a glass of champagne, courtesy of the chef - the staff is very nice and friendly. The chef decided to also provide us with a beet plate on top of ricotta(?). I am NOT a big fan of beet, the consistence was really good but it is really not my cup of tea. The garlic bread was the highlight of the dinner. The cheese stretched a lot and the crust was just right. Then came the lasagnas they looked really good but with the first bite I noticed a distinct taste - green bell pepper, which I am not a big fan of as it contaminates the flavour of everything. Also there were two layers of bacon and not a lot of cheese in between the layers, it was mostly all on top. The lemonade was good, it had no sugar and no mint so it was "healthy". Last the desert, the Zabaione, even though it was ok, it was a lot, as in it came in a soup plate and not a small one! The restaurant has room for improvement so I am not giving up on it yet!

Great food! Lovely risotto with fish and tuna pizza with perfect crust. Nice service that took their time. Recommended!

It's a really great pizza place, every dish was delicious. There was a big delay between the starters and the pizzas but I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker. The food was great, prizes were reasonable and overall we were quite happy. Light was a bit dimmer than in some other restaurants, so it's even more fitting if you're going on a romantic dinner.

Probably one of the best restaurants for Italian in Porto

There aren't many Italian places in town if you exclude pizzerias. This place is charming. It's staff (seemingly Brazilian) is attentive and efficient. Food is fresh and properly done. We had a great duck risotto, a truly good octopus confit and a well presented salmon carpaccio. The place is small and at lunch offers little in intimacy. But the decor is warm and pleasant. A small downside is the non acceptance of credit cards or any foreign bank card.

Great pasta, soup and dessert. The sangria with Spumante was wonderful. The only drawback was dining next to a family with noisy, extremely loud boys. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. He even warned me about a spicy dish.

Good food and client service. I recommen it!
