Visited on a Saturday evening for the Seafood Indulgance Warmly greeted and taken to our table with an amazing view of Sydney CBD skyline and the marina. Our hostess was Linda, such a character. Friendly, attentive, and her banter made us feel as if we were the only guests in the restaurant. Well done, Linda, your customer service skills are outstanding. Our beverages were served quickly by the barman. Our dishes came out 1 by 1 and were presented very well, very tasty and very large portions. We savoured every mouthful. Did not have any room for dessert, which is a first. Had an absolute 1st rate visit to this well-known. Woolloomooloo venue

The menu was not as published on thefork and we were not told until we we were served the entree and asked the waiter. Much less value - only 2 oysters instead of half a dozen instead they give you pita bread. Instead of a serving of the bug, they give you a pasta with much less bug meat. So many more low value carbs which fill right up rather than providing that deluxe seafood experience.

Apart from waiting an hour for one course, and it wasn’t busy, listening to the waitstaff arguing, being charged for another table’s espresso martini and being overcharged for a large glass of wine when I had a small one it was good….just be careful.

The Seafood Indulgence menu sounded great and the portions they served were definitely substantial; however the quality of the food was sub par. The seafood chowder was nice, but lacked flavour, the thermidor oysters were revolting, and the prawns were over cooked. Combine that with clanky, chaotic service and I know we will not be going back to Manta.

We started with the rice cake with raw tuna - delicious. Followed by lobster spaghetti, then today's special of pink snapper fillet with pumpkin, capers and raisins. All seafood is exceptionally fresh and delicious. Staff are attentive and always look after us. Our favourite Woolloomooloo restaurant.

A great choice in all aspects. Fantastic dishes and excellent service. Our shared menu included from otters to succulent calamari. The freshness and preparation of the meals from entrees to the most spectacular dessert a magnificent cherry soufflé. Implacable and to return !

There were great entrees, but very ordinary mains. swordfish overcooked and awful tasting prawn linguine very so so ..... a little disappointing at these prices wine list extensive and reasonably priced forwhat they are staff a little stand offish mood wise, but attentive and efficient in general. lovely marina side location, but given that there are so many restaurants along here you get get the feeling that you are marooned in an ocean of tables

It was a beautiful Sydney night with a spectacular skyline view. A perfect occasion to experience Manta's tasting menu with matching wines. It is all about fine and sometimes exotic seafood prepared expertly to demonstrate flavour with flair. Service is professional in the Italian tradition and the sommelier, Jean, is an engaging storyteller sharing his passion for food, wine and history. It was an unforgettable dining experience.

Fabulous location on a different part of the harbour waterfront, looking up towards the city skyline from Woolloomooloo Wharf. Food, service and ambiance all wonderful. We always love our lunches and dinners here. Crab lasagna and lightly fried calamari entrees delicious. Main special today of sniper fillet very nice and grilled prawns with XO sauce. Yum Fresh rocket, grilled peach, almond and parmesan salad, and crispy chips to share. Delicious.
