About the restaurant Mantel - Table 22

A nice meal. Nothing fancy but nicely prepared and presented. The Manager chose a nice Rosé for us and the service was attentive.

Was there for the Cannes Lions, and the restaurant had a special Lions menu. We tried several starters. The burrata and asparagus were standouts. For the mains, I had steak which I found to be a bit overdone, but still delicious. My colleagues had the fish which they loved. Wine pairing was decent and price was reasonable for a Michelin starred restaurant during the crowded Lions week.

Very attentive staff, very quiet in the beginning but we went there very early at 7 pm, and it was a rainy day. Food was exquisite and with an interesting twist ( the gazpacho!) the fish was very fresh, the burrata di buffalo authentic, the creme brûlée the best I have ever had. The complimentary cookies they served at the end tasted like freshly baked and just delicious.,Cannes is expensive but at Mantel the prices are justified for great quality of food and great service.

Our best meal in Cannes - food, service, presentation were outstanding. My starter was a beautiful Asparagus Salad with shaved summer Truffles. It was followed by John Dory in a sauce flavored ever so slightly with lemongrass. Dessert was a refreshing lemon tart.

A great restaurant set on the old town. The food was great and so was the service. We were made very welcome for our lunch which was early season. This part of town was quieter than the sea front, and I felt like I had found a great secret (accessible to all on the internet, of course!). Definitely worth walking a few more metres. I hope to return again soon. Important for me was that my guests seemed to enjoy our visit as much as I did. Great value for money, too!

Wonderful meal, beautifully presented and delicious flavours. What one aspires to find in a French restaurant and sadly doesn't happen too often. Staff friendly and efficient. A lovely meal and not over the top prices. Thanks

We had a great meal at Mantel. Starters of fois gras and lobster salad were delicious followed be equally wonderful mains of lamb and John Dory. More importantly, the staff made us feel welcome and were attentive without being intrusive -despite a hectic night with crowds of conference attendees swarming the area.

Just fantastic! We seven party all loved it! Food was really good. It was the best one in my Cannes dining experience in 18 years. Wish to go there again.

The food was good, except for the scrambled eggs with vodka cream, which were awful.

I took my husband there for a romantic evening and it did not disappoint. The price is high, but so is the quality and standard of food. You find many overpriced restaurants in Cannes which serve mediocre food. In Mantel you pay for what you get (the starter Lobster Ravioli was to die for). The ambience is calm and sophisticated. We were there on a quiet Thursday evening in February and the place was full with business men in suits and the odd romantic couple. I can highly recommend Mantel if you are planning something special.
