9.5/10Very original food . Strong local flavours of sherry , vinegar , garlic , cumin and Chili. Local ingredients and recipes taken from the province of Cadiz and broken down into the contributing elements with great flare . Unusually for Spain they offer an exceptional cheese board as well . Strong accent in local wines and of course , sherry . At around 150 euros a head with wine it is really very reasonably priced for the care and quality . Something similar in France would be more than double the price . It’s expensive for Spain but satisfaction is certain . I will go back.

10/10Incredible experience! Front of the staff was extremely synchronized and executed the absolute perfect service. Chef Israel Ramos offer an in-depth introduction to the local ingredients, history and culture… highly recommend paging them a visit and doing the wine pairing with dinner! THANK YOU MANTUA!!!

8.5/10First, let me say that the food at Mantua is superb. The innovation, taste and quality of each course was sublime. Very occasionally, the intensity of flavour was just a tad on the salty side but one could readily identify key ingredients and flavour combinations. The food was beautifully presented and, once it got going, the food was brought to the table at a nice pace. The wine pairing was also of an exceptionally high quality, served with a high degree of knowledge of the provenance of each pairing. The restaurant itself is discreetly located and the staff very pleasant, smiley, welcoming and attentive. The interior, however, is, to my taste, overly bright and, as a consequence, hardly relaxing. This is very much formal dining. Whilst the young staff are very knowledgeable and capable and work exceedingly hard, for me their attention to detail was just off the mark for a restaurant where the menus start at >€100; my pescatarian partner was given the wrong menu initially which took nearly 20 minutes to rectify and the clearing of glasses between courses was a bit hit or miss. Information as to when the wine pairing kicked in was also lacking. Whilst this didn’t detract from the quality of the food, at this level one is also very much paying for the experience too which during our visit just missed expected standard.

10/10In our opinion the absolute best restaurant in Jerez and in our top 3 in Europe. Worth every penny and would say it is a MUST for any foodie when visiting this city. Fantistic in every way. You will be absolutely satisfied and feeling happy after eating in Mantua.
