Encouraged to see that the restaurant was busy with Iraqi ex-pats, and the quality food served quickly and efficiently lived up to expectations, which were high having visited Iraq a few months ago.

the restaurant was lovely and the tastes all wonderful. I recommend the restaurant for anyone who is interested in tasting authentic plates from iraq that are actually with similarities to the whole east and mediterranean region

The traditional Iraqi food was disappointingly bland. No herbs or spices. I expected some flavour but there was none. The menu said "meat with rice" and that's exactly what it was. Just rice with a few cardamom pods, a sliver of hard cinnamon and fatty lamb with added bones. We received a plate of raw salad vegetables and a lemon instead of pita or bread. No humus to go with it. I like to try food from other countries but if this is the best from Iraq, then I won't try it again. The food was also expensive and no-one asked if we wanted dessert. I felt that they didn't want us there. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the portion size.

Horrible horrible food, none of us finished our meal. Meat was dry and burnt. Would not recommend at all. Price’s definitely did not justify the food

The food and service are great. It is a great restaurant, although we had a problem. They gave us "old menus" and when we received the check they had charged us 5 pounds more per meal...

The restaurant serves delicious Iraqi dishes with good portions. Also, the staff were really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely food and helpful staff. A little more effort required in keeping toilets clean. Basement area untidy with chairs etc. Proper cups needed for customers to drink english style tea, we were served with small glass cups .

The food was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge. The humus was some of the best I have ever had. The service was good. Only downside was sports on the television during dinner. I'm sure it was a big important game, so no biggie. I would go back for sure on our next visit to London.

We ordered the Kouzi (lamb neck with balsmati rice). The portion was humongous and the meat was really tender, more than enough to share between the two of us. There was also a complimentary side of raw vegetables that was perfect in cleansing our palate from the flavours of the lamb.

The portions very well served and the food is Really tasty. The staff was so kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend. The yogurt drink was very good and the mohalabieh. The kouzi wa so tender and tasty.
