10/10This little restaurant was another delicious dining spot in Matera. We ate on the terrace. Plenty of shade. Good choices for vegetarians. Good service and they threw in a beautiful day too!

6.5/10Beautiful set-up but very average food. Better for a drink or coffee, not for dinner.

9.5/10We ate outside on a quiet terrace. The starter was very tasty and the ribs were delicious. The two ladies serving us were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.

8.5/10Food was great, though we didn’t like the cheese platter that much. Polpo was great. Very basic tables, waitress was very nice and friendly, but she was serving too many tables, so service was a bit slow.

9/10Absolutely amazing food and prepared with love and fantasy. And their special canollo is sooooo nice! Thanks and what a privilege to stay in Matera!

10/10I came for my anniversary with my girlfriend and we just loved it. Incredibile place: a cave dug into "Tufo" right in the heart of Matera's City center and just 1 minute away from the main square. Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff: they made us feel at home and they helped us pick the best dishes they offered. Relaxing atmosphere, with a perfect mix between lights, music and furniture. I saved the best for last: the food was absolutely fantastic. A short menu with soups, salads, appetizers and main dishes but with a very broad selection of fine wines and beers. The dishes were all meticulously cooked and served. We started with very refined appetizers (they make the best bruschettas), going on with salad, potatoes and "Maialino tonnato". None of these dishes were simple or predictable, and they all were a perfect bond between flavours. Highly recommended.
