Quite an out of the way place, but easy parking. Service was a bit slow, but otherwise good. Food was excellent, especially the peixinhos da horta, the magret of duck, and the carob and lime tart, and all beautifully presented. Liked the real candles and the dried flower table arrangements, plus cloth napkins. Music was very good, too.

I’ve had several lamb stews in the Algarve this was by far the best for presentation and flavors/taste obviously made with love from a family recipe. Staff were very attentive but not over bearing, first class experience.

Espaço amplo, com bastante espaço entre as mesas, decoração agradável, mantém elementos típicos do Algarve. Equipa de sala com bastante conhecimento, correcta e simpática. Comida portuguesa tradicional excelente, muito bem confeccionada, parabéns, um valor seguro ao qual regressaremos com toda a certeza!

O ambiente é muito bom, um sítio tranquilo, muito bonito e acolhedor. Os funcionários e o atendimento é de excelência no trato e simpatia, acontece que é muito demorado entre os diferentes momentos do jantar. A comida é boa e saborosa. Vale a experiência.

Num local calmo fica este restaurante maravilhoso. A espetada de tamboril com gambas é muito boa e o D.Rodrigo foi o melhor que comi. Um restaurante a voltar.

This restaurant is hidden away but so glad we made the journey. Beautiful setting, really relaxed and very attentive staff. Food was divine! Highly recommend.

Despite booking in advance and requesting gluten free for 2 guests, the restaurant was not able to provide gluten free bread which was disappointing. Also, the fish my husband had was not good and had diarrhea afterwards. Quite expensive for the food which was very average.

This is definitely the best restaurant we have been to in Portugal. The staff immediately put us at ease - the menu is a little different to other restaurants and is what gives it an edge over the others. We tried the hot starters of fried sausage balls with mustard and goats cheese with honey. The presentation was excellent and the taste divine. Mains were just as good. Monkfish kebab with prawns and wild boar stew. The only downside to the stew was that it was slightly over salted but apart from that they were both very tasty. You can choose your wine from an extensive list but as I was the only one drinking I just asked for a glass of white. The one chosen for me was light and fruity and just perfect. The decor and ambiance was spot on and the prices were very very reasonable. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area and would wholeheartedly recommend.
