Even though everything was perfect, I would say that the menu option which cost 60 euros is too much for what you get. However the taste of the food and the service were amazing.

The service was good, the place is cozy and in a very quiet neighborhood. However the food was very average and the seafood plate I had was very salty. It felt a bit bland. The salad as well was very bland and the burrata was a bit sour.

If it is a beautiful space or intriguing design you are after, Medici is not the place to go. If however you want truly authentic and delicious Italian food in Munich, you should not miss this restaurant (and I live in Milan). The food was fantastic and the service charming, attentive and genuinely friendly.

Good food, although a little expensive. The waiter was not a believer in the customer always being right! We were told that we could not order wine by the glass and so we were forced to buy a bottle of wine, which we really didn’t want. Furthermore, there was some confusion over one of the dishes which was not handled well. I hadn’t realised that pepperoni on a pizza in Germany was not the American/Italian version of pepperoni but was instead a white pepper. The waiter was condescending and tried to tell me that I was incorrect in my understanding of pepperoni. I might well have been but he could have handled the situation a lot better.
