This place looks like an upscale Italian restaurant. Formally dressed personnel. Table clothes (which in Italy are used in ALL restaurants even the cheaper ones). Lots of cutlery and glassware. A fancy place.

The food was fancy as well, but the waiting time was too much. We went from starving to be annoyed because of the long time between the dishes. It's a pity because the food was actually good, but we could not enjoy and appreciate because we just got tired.

I always wanted to go back and try again. But it's not a cheap place. Nothing wrong with it: we are scared to waste again our time.

Go to a supermarker and buy yourself a packet of "fresh" pasta. Better than the dried stuff ? Yep, but its not until you come to a place like this that you realize just how dull and "unfresh" it really is. True its a lot cheaper than the 20 Euro I paid here friday for 3 pieces of ravioli with butter and sage, but the difference in quality is enormous and the taste and texture the real thing was worth traveling a long way for. The rest of the meal was ok as well. Its good wholesome food, that tries to be modern and inventive. Its not a top culinary experience though - 3 differant main course dishes all had the same vegatables and potatoes - but the tastes are good and there is a quality to the preparation and execution that makes it all taste great. As always in the south, the portions seem to be large, but we did manage to eat just about every item, so its not as overdone as some places. Service is brisk and very friendly, and the all Italian wine list has some very good wines. Aircon worked a treat as well.
