Family holiday from Melbourne. Wanted an Asian inspired seafood restaurant. Market prices are steep... But what do you expect from Australia's Vegas!!!! Delicious!!! Speedy!!! Looked after the toddler's needs with colouring pencils and paper too!!!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they always make sure to take care of their patrons. The food was fresh and affordable. It was amazing to know the lobster I had for dinner was fresh out of the tank. I will definitely be going back I travel back to Gold Coast

Excellent service even though booked at busiest timing. Simply the best, freshest and tastiest prawn dumplings we have had anywhere.Sticky rice lotus leaf wrap was wonderful and a meal in itself. Highly recommended - we will return often.

We booked the tale for 7pm and we were there on time. Then it took us about 10 minutes to decide what to ordered. The 1st dish arrived on our table at 8:05pm. Kids were so hungry and we made a couple of complaints. However, the waitress says the meals will be here very soon. We also paid 15% surcharges because of the Easter weekend but the service was unacceptable and not worth it at all to go for a dinner there. I do not recommend anyone to go there.

Hi Tony, thank you for taking the time to comment. We apologize for the wait time during the busy Easter weekend. The 15% surcharge on public holidays was to cover double pay rate to all staff. It was never a big profit to the company. It is reflected by no trading on Sundays and public holidays for so many restaurants. We will take into account your comment and improve our food serving time.

The seafood is really fresh and delicious, the steam coral trout is excellent. The service is very good and they tailor made a dish for us well. Really enjoy dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommend

Melbas Asian Seafood was fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.They made you feel welcome as soon as you walk up to the door, will definitely be back again next time we're on the Gold Coast.

A great new find for us with wonderful personalised service by the owners Suzanne & Teddy. The food was delicious & so nice to be able to buy half a Peking duck which gave us 3 pancakes & 2 San choy bow each. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent service and food Def will come again and again xxx The best beef we had and lobster. My kids love it and keep asking to go back again … Highly recommended for everyone to have meal and enjoy for it

Very delicious food. Mummy steam fish and lobster cooked with cheese. Staff was quite busy, but they were very nice and provided excellent services. The waiter even offered free shrimp crackers and ice cream for kids. We had an enjoyable dinner there.

Don't do it, Poorly made Chinese food like in 80's country town. Servings small. Misrepresenting drinks-labelled some fancy cider brand and brought out a run of the mill Somersby cider. Worst was $5 for 1 bowl of rice. Usually charged per person but these animals had the audacity to charge per bowl. I challenged her on it and she snapped back that it's on the menu. I feel no guilt or regret if this review hurts their business. Absolutely disgraceful. Food court is better.

Hi Mr Fung, we regret to see such a brutal comment on hospitality. We revisited your dinner order on 25 Nov while you were dining alone. You ordered 6 pcs Gyoza (dumplings) $15, Mapo Tofu $28, Jasmine Rice x 2 $10, and an Apple Cider $9. Total bill was $62. The waitress charged according to the menu. Due to no supply of the Pressman's Apple Cider, she gave you Somersby instead. The two Aussie brands are at similar costs. We didn't mean to make another dollar from it. We cannot accept your other inhumane comments due to size and price. You may come from another planet and not knowing the whole world including Australia is short of supplies and labours, and inflations are skyrocketed. We all suffer from it. If you apply the 80's business mode to date, and still think a restaurant can provide all-you-eat at a low cost. No way. It was a human waitress working hard to live. No one deserve to be abused.

It is a very nice experience to have a HK style dinner with the fresh seafood from Brisbane. The restaurant is clean and tidy. There are couple of rooms for small group. Owners are friendly and helpful. Finally, the price is very reasonable even in the tourist area.
