9/10What a wonderfully, warm, welcome reception on a wild,cold,stormy night .The food and ambience matched the welcome .Very reasonable thankyou.I highly recommend this place.It is very close to the Royal Albert Hall.

5.5/10Visited with hopes for a flavorful escape, but left feeling a bit… stranded. The food was fine—decently spiced, if somewhat predictable. But to call this ‘the best Indian food ever’ (as some reviews proclaim) is a stretch worthy of Bollywood. Where are these rave reviewers eating Indian food—Mars? The experience, however, took a true nosedive when they seated me, a solo diner, right next to the restroom door. Charming. Especially with plenty of other, far better tables available. It felt like a subtle nudge that my ‘company’ might be best suited for quick turnover. In the end, I’d recommend this place if you happen to be in the neighborhood… but would I travel to dine here? Not a chance.

10/10What a lovely place to enjoy lunch on a flying visit to London! Superb food and tailored to our preferences. My favourite Indian dish, fish makhani, wasn't on the menu but, after a word with the waiter, the chef was able to cook it up to perfection.

8/10In short, highly recommended, and a place we will visit again, when in London. Two adults, and two children (7 and 12). The waiters were kind and attentive, regardless of age, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Mango Lassi was best ever (male, 59, and boy, 12).

5.5/10The service was too fast, we had barely finished our starters when the mains were brought out. The mains were very disappointing, Chicken Korma and Chicken Masala - both had hardly any chicken with little sauce. Wasn’t worth the price. The bill was put on our table once we finished our last mouthful, waiter stood with card machine within seconds. Felt like we were rushed out, we were barely there 40 mins. Wouldn’t go back

9/10We booked a table online using TheFork. There were other Indian Restaurants on Gloucester Road but none that we walked past had as many patrons dining as Memories of India. Everything went smoothly. Our table was ready for us when we arrived at 2200. The food came very quickly. It was surprisingly delicious. No ill effects or indigestion afterwards. We would definitely go again.

6/10Great food but staff not attentive, once my main dish was served I had to walk up to the waiter every time to order dessert, get the bill etc, my table effectively was ignored after the mains were brought to us.

10/10I've been going here for years and it is always good.Excellent service and great food. Really nice ambience. My only wish is that they'd offer a sparkling wine by the glass.

Thank you for your review.I will look into this wine situation and see if it can be sorted.The alternative is bring a friend who also likes sparkling wine :-)) It was a joke. If you ask I am sure someone could try to resolve the wine or drink more, again joke.Thank you again and I hope to see you all again.
