We got a very warm welcome. The wine list was good. The food was completely delicious and cooked beautifully and was just so fresh. It also looked so pretty on the plate. We had mackerel and sea bass to start with and then tuna and cod all of which was fabulous. We couldn’t manage a pudding. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will go back one day soon.

Excellent restaurant. We Had dinner on the terrace and we took the 4 course menu of the chef. Fresh fish, original cooking, absolutely great service!! Really a place to go in monopoli

I had read the reviews. I am visiting from Australia so it is important that every experience be unique and memorable. I could tell this restaurant was polarising, but trusted my gut. This is a restaurant creating new and exciting food using brilliant local products masterfully created. Wonderful. If you’re looking for a traditional restaurant this is not the place for you. But, if you would like to experience a new twist on some old ways, book now. The service was amazing as well.

in the past, those who have judged our work in a negative way have given us food for thought ... not this time! Assuming that you showed up 45 minutes late at the booking time without calling and that once you are seated, you have read the menu and for heaven's sake we do not presume to please everyone, but the chance to try our idea of ​​cooking it was granted to us when you ordered, what does not convince us is the absolute contradiction between your review and what happened in the room.. A) the dishes were appreciated in spite of that quality on which we should work 😳😳 B) if there was any problem why not communicate it instead of, at this point, lying to my colleagues in the room C) Our location is simple and fresh and obviously small..it is not a stable! What mortifies is not so much the judgment, I repeat..we cannot please everyone, but the sterile wickedness..the missed opportunity for comparison between us and your expectations. This was a great find and their hospitality was fantastic. The local foods amazing also and apart from the restaurant being a little quiet, but that suited us, given it was early. We were a UK couple who didn't want to eat late, however we understand the Italian way of life, so we knew there wouldn't be many locals in the restaurant at 7.30pm, given they dine much later. It suited us and if you ever have a chance to try it out, make sure you do.

Is there any greater joy in travel than to discover a humble, small, honest restaurant that puts out spellbinding dishes? Metae is every bit worth it and an experience if you get Enzo, our server, who was a joy. Finish your plates completely like we did and maybe you'll get complimented by Chef Massimo too ;)

Came for a lunch late in the season (October 17), Restaurant was quiet and indoor dining only. The food was excellent. We both had the seared tuna then the ravioli. When we finished we decided to order another serving of the seared tuna. Did I mention the seared tuna was excellent? Good wine list too! Will return! Thank you! Grazie!

The restaurant was a great find. The service was extremely warm and professional. The prices, specially from the wine is excellent! I can only recommend it, and if in monopoli would definitely go back!
