I HIGHLY recommend MEWE. A terrific sushi fusion restaurant in the business area of Bergamo, MEWE offers creatively presented, delicious sushi and other dishes with exceptionally personal service. The chef/owner helped us with menu selections, and the host was very accommodating and friendly. A creative amuse bouche was presented. The multiple LED lights in the front room are unwelcoming, but in fact the restaurant itself is in a smaller backroom with better ambience. Still, the upscale food and service deserve a better atmosphere (maybe table lanterns or candles and some warmer decor).
