Salads Galore This popular little cafe on Canning Highway, just up from Canning Bridge, makes breakfast pretty much any way you want it. It´s also a handy place to go for lunch, especially if you work in the area. You´ll see any number of people who work in Applecross trying out some of the exotic looking dishes on the salad bar. Their chicken noodle salad looks about as healthy and as tasty as a salad can get. They make a magnificent hamburger that makes you wonder how people manage to get their teeth around it. It´s a challenge to the tastebuds too – but in a good way. Finish off your meal outside in the alfresco section with one of their fancy coffees. After that, if you have time, you can take a stroll down to where the Swan and Canning rivers meet. Best dish: Anything from the salad bar
