Mickeys has a great vibe and fabulous view. The food was delicious. However, the service was not good. We waited at least 15 minutes to be asked what drinks we would like. Our starters were delivered in the same manner as an Amazon parcel is launched from a passing vehicle in the rain, without a smile. Our starter plates were left on the table for us to put to one side and stare at and weren’t cleared away until the space was needed for our main meals. The water jug was dirty and the drinks menu was covered in ketchup. We asked for the bill and waited and waited until eventually my husband had to go and find someone so we could pay for the silver service prices! We were extremely disappointed, as on the way in we were asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, which we were as my son had received his GCSE results the day before and had specifically asked to go to Mickeys. In summary, a lovely meal, but you’re better off heading to Prezzo for better value and service.

staff left us for ages with empty plates - in the end I had to call over and ask one of them to clear the table. Also a large group of people were being shown round the restaurant whilst we were eating!

Great service, greeted at the bar by very happy helpful staff who made great cocktails, table by the window with excellent views of the sea, fab staff especially Phoebe and Sasha! Good food, good atmosphere. Always visit Mickeys when we’re down this way!

They tried to sit us in a stuffy conservatory area and instantly I felt awkward as I told them I will not sit there. Why they did this as the restaurant was virtually empty and not many other tables arrived after us for the lunch time

We were not shown a la carte menu and so did not realise fish was available. The complementary cocktail for the men was disappointing and had little taste.. I found the ginger dessert disappointing as I was expecting to find cristalized ginger bits in the dessert and there didn’t appear to be any. crystallised bits. We also felt the chicken portions were too big.

Depends what you have. I highly recommend the mussels, my daughter had a lamb rump and it didn't come with anything!! Was very expensive but said was delicious. If it came with a side I would of recommended it but for £28 for a piece of lamb was definitely not worth it!!

Very poor service. Waitress very abrupt. Ask if meal was ok when we have finished. Fish looked and tasted like a Birds Eye frozen out of a box. Wouldn’t recommend as price for the quality of the food was not great.
