Initially we went to have pintxos the way we know them from Bilbao. And although they claim to have pintxos on the menu, we don’t consider them as such (not comparable to the real ones). So we went for their paella and that was great.

Service was really bad. We ordered paella, the pan was brought to our table with the notion that a collegea would come and make our plates. This took more than 20 minutes so we decided to serve our selves, to the surprise of the staff. When we asked for the bill we had to wait for 45 minutes until someone noticed us again and remembered that we had already asked. The staff just does not look around and seems to forget you entirely. Would not recommend or go back.

We had the ham and cheese Tapas and seafood Pealla and it was delicious. The services was also excellent. The atmosphere was really nice ???? If you want to get away from the party street and enjoy a nice dinner, we can really recommend Mikel & Pintxo

Not a nice experience at all attending this restaurant, waiter came to our table within minutes of arriving, we obviously wasn't ready as hadn't seen a menu of any kind he therefore said that he'd give us a few more minutes and would come back, we thereafter 45 minutes before he came back to then advised to look at the menu we would have to scan the barcode on the table, he did not advise that there was actually 2 different menus, we ordered our drinks

Croquettas we’re excellent, however the chicken on the kebab was over cooked and the size of the lamb chop was pathetic! It looked like it had already been eaten by someone. We sent the lamb back and they did replace it but it still wasn’t great. We had high expectations for this place but left feeling unsatisfied. Expectation was Gucci, the reality was more like Dunlop. The waiting staff did attempt to make us feel welcome, however the food really let the place down though I’m afraid.

Friendly welcoming staff and very pretty and tasty food that came out hot and quickly! Definitely highly recommended for those who like Spanish tapas and cocktails
