The restaurant was an unexpected pleasure after visiting Chateau Urtubie. The food was inventive, the portions large, and the staff helpful and friendly. We had 2 vegetarians in our group and the dishes were creative and delicious.

The food was pretty decent but the service was terrible! They sat us down and we waited 30 min to order drinks and another 20 min fpr the drinks to arrive. Each order took forever. This turned out to be a 4 hour dinner!!

We made the booking on TheFork, but they had not added it to their reservations. No apology was offered and we were given the table right at the door. After showing our disappointment, they found another table. Entree was excellent as was the Creme Brulee. However the entrecote was average. Presentation was poor with just the meat placed on the plate with a pile of chips. Staff were helpful.

The grilled fish and seafood are the standouts here. Perhaps the best grilled sea bass I have eaten in Europe — and that includes the Greek Islands. Laurent and Clement provide expert and very friendly service, and the attractive contemporary dining room and plentiful free parking are additional pluses. Very much recommended.
