I absolutely enjoyed my experience here and would highly recommended it. The staff where very attentive and explained the food and the wine in English, as I don't speak Spanish. The real star however is the food. I'd recommend a second Michelin Star!

This was my first experience at a Michelin star restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was sublime and the service was exceptional. When it was time to leave the waitress seemed truly disturbed that the machine could not produce a bill but I'd like to reassure her that it really was not a problem and the handwritten one was fine!

Mina is a super little find where the restricted number of diners and set taster menu allow the front-of-house team to focus on the customer while the chefs are perfecting the food; all of which was fresh and local. We were seated at a table close to the open kitchen and never once disturbed by the activities therein; those who chose to sit at the “bar” could see and interact with the chefs throughout their meal. The food was lovely, with lots of interesting and original twists. Portion sizes were good and we left feeling comfortably full. We found the ambience welcoming and the modern setting in an old building was charming. A particular joy was the crockery and cutlery all of which was fun and quirky. I can safely say Mina is our new favourite Michelin starred restaurant!

The staff were very friendly and efficient and clearly had a passion for their restaurant. The food was exceptional. Entirely locally sourced and cooked in a Basque style. The ambience was perfect, the tables were well spaced and places limited which made for a very pleasant, intimate dinner. Full marks.

The entrance of this restaurant is unique. It’s a little difficult to find, but that makes it fun. The food was exquisite. It was amazing to be able to see the kitchen. My only remark is that it was sometimes very difficult to understand the staff. Their English is good, but it could be better.

The reduced tasting menu was innovative and brilliantly executed, a unique and memorable experience with wonderful service. The chef, kitchen and serving staff are to be congratulated. To my taste, the wine pairing was not always so successful due to the decision only to serve Spanish wines, which meant wider possibilities were sometimes ignored.

Excelente comida y servicio con una atención impecable por parte de todos. Deliciosa la cebolla morada, el Txitkarro y la vieira, con el resto de los platos sin desmerecer en absoluto. La Presentación en diferente tipo de platos y cubiertos complementaba la experiencia. El único punto (menor) que añadiríamos como algo que no nos pareció al mismo nivel fue la iluminación de la sala, sentimos que estaba demasiado iluminada y faltaba algo de intimidad. Cuidado al salir si se va de noche, hay un par de calles cercanas que no parecen ser las más “seguras” de Bilbao

We quite enjoyed the food, we selected the smaller menu thinking it would be ample and representative but found the portions tiny and the ingredients somewhat lowbrow. The service was very nice and attentive. My significant disappointment was the wine list, which was very young, predominantly 2018 for the Riojas, too young to drink. I questioned the sommelier re this but he had no answer. I found nice Ribera instead. Typically we can find very well aged Rioja in nice restaurants.

Food and service was great. Server was really attentive and nice. Drop a remark that it’s for a birthday celebration and they surprise us with a complimentary dessert. Very satisfied with my dining experience.

Outstanding in all respects! One of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Exceeded expectations and we’ve been to several Michelin restaurants.
