Atmosphere was wonderful , but the food wasn't what we'd hoped for as it wasn't was was described on the menu. Wine was warm. We went at lunchtime and service was slow and they seemed a little understaffed.

We chose this restaurant specifically for its promising vegan menu, as it appeared to be the only place in town offering decent options. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. The waiter struggled to communicate in both Portuguese and English, making it difficult to convey our needs. Despite clearly stating that we had chosen the restaurant for its vegan offerings, the waiter seemed unfamiliar with the concepts of veganism and vegetarianism. Instead of guiding us through the menu, they repeatedly brought out pre-packaged, frozen meals from the fridge, asking us to check the ingredients ourselves. The meal we eventually received—a lackluster vegetable curry with rice—was poorly made and uninspiring. The service was equally disappointing, leaving us frustrated and dissatisfied. While the space itself was charming, it wasn’t enough to make up for the subpar service and below-average food. We left feeling deeply disappointed with our experience.

It was down to the fact that the fork are offering 30% off dining, we have decided to try these places whilst getting a discount. Such a good way to experience new places. So pleased mira had the offer as we may never have found it in tavira. Such a warm welcoming atmosphere lovely staff and plentiful food. We will go back and try other dishes. The bacalhau was delicious. My only negative is it did feel a little rushed , our main course cAme out before we had finished our starter.

Good food and staff. Everything very well presented. Our only gripe was £11.99 for a basic gin & tonic. I hope they are not trying to make up the 30% discount!

The food was fresh, but we just thought it could be more creative and flavorful. The biggest problem was our waitress spoke no English and it made ordering and paying difficult. We will try again some time because sometimes a restaurant can have an ‘off’ day.
