We absolutely loved our meal here. Our server was delightful and made us feel so welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to this area.

Lovely little restaurant with very friendly service. We had the local pasta, busiate al pesto trapenese and another seafood version with busiate. They were excellent. They only problem was the fish cousre that we shared. I think it was my mistake and naïveté. The fish of the day was 6 euros per pound. That really seemed too inexpensive. Our server said we could also choose from the fresh fish in the case. I went to the case and discussed the fish with the very knowledgeable server and choose one to be grilled. I think it was dorado. It was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it, until the bill came. Fish was 76 euros (just for the fish!). I should have realized it was NOT the fish of the day, and i should have asked the price. To be honest, the delightful server actually brought out the uncooked fish to the table after it had been weighed and told us how much it weighed (over 1 kg whole - a large fish, but that was heads, bones and all), to be sure this is what we wanted. . It looked beautiful- so we said yes. I think we should have been told of the enormous price for the fish - but again, my naïveté - i am partly to blame for not asking. We paid the bill, of course. The dinner was such a pleasant experience, i kind of forgave them for what could be interpreted as a “con” or a “deception”. It was a learning experience - ask questions!!!
