We were soooo disappointed, we have been here many times and chose it as the first restaurant to visit on our first evening in La Caletta. We had reserved a table for 8pm and arrived just before. It wasn’t too busy, we have seen it busier and there were quite a few empty tables. We went just inside and tired to get a waiters attention, o hadn’t realized that we had become “invisible!” My husband tried to speak to a waiter on 2 occasions and they ignored home and walked by. After standing there obviously waiting for a table for 5 minutes we left….

Having had a bad experience at the nearby Troque restaurant, my wife & I were a bit apprehensive about visit to the Mirlo La Caleta. However we needn't have worried, the food was very good (apart from the cold mash potatoes my wife had with her steak), the service was prompt and attentive ; with myself being gluten free the waiter was helpful in explaining the menu options for me. I had the hamburger with their homemade chips which was excellent. Overall we had a very positive dining experience and would have no hesitation in coming back again if we were to return to Tenerife.

Great location, especially the outside terrace at sunset. Service quick and friendly, especially accommodating of our disabled daughter. Food excellent. The standout dish was the tuna tartare but visited three times and tried a lot of the menu. Will definitely return next year.

Revisited after 2 good meals at Mirlo last year. We were not disappointed- great food and drinks & service. Really enjoyed it - went 2 nights in a row! Second night sat inside and preferred that.

We loved this restaurant. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The setting was lovely beside the Sea. We ordered tuna tartare, tuna and salmon sashimi and hearts of palm to start - all were fresh and delicious. We chose the octopus and prawns for our mains with a green salad, again all delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Starters were very good. Mains were disappointing. Service was excellent. Interesting wine list, great choice and affordable prices. Advice for the chef: bring the main plates to a higher level please.
