Nice authentic Japanese fair, including nice teppanyaki tables and excellent sushi! My only complaint is that the service was a bit on the slow side. Otherwise a great experience.

Wonderful hospitality and terrific food! Teppanyaki and sushi of superior quality. Great location and ambiance. Best California Roll with fresh crab!

The welcoming waiter curtly told us to wait at the entrance even though they were only about 3 other guest groups in the place and it was basically empty. The manager came and seemed surprised we were waiting so got us a table. We ordered two different menus from the very overpriced carte. The entrée was algae and it had the consistency of plastic with green coloring. Clearly it came out ready-made from a bottle. T hey made no preparation besides putting it on a plate. The second course was another type of algae. Same as above, it tasted just salty and definitely canned. My wife’s sushi was not properly cooled. The plate was room-temperature even though it’s supposed to be served cold. We stopped eating and left. The most disappointing experience. Glad we didn’t

Quite shocked at the change in Miyako. What always used to be reliably good - was very poor. Service not familiar with menu and staple menu items like tofu not available! What has happened there?

We were a family of 5, arrived early and ordered before the place got busy. The chef at our table was great however a dish from the kitchen never arrived and the kitchen chef refused to cook it as he was so busy by then! Waiter v apologetic but powerless which was very disappointing. Will not be returning.

Lovely atmosphere and fun with Teppanyaki-concept. But, we experienced limited attention from the waiter and the food was also mediocre: too salty, and they roasted the meat too much. We asked for medium rare, but it was more well done. The overall experience was ok, but not more than that.
