About the restaurant Mogogo

Mogogo introduces you to the authentic Eritrean cuisine. Herbs and some ingredients are imported from Eritrea. Also by the decor and the music you’ll imagine yourself in the distant Eritrea. In Eritrea, it is usual not to eat of a plate, but from a very large scale together with the rest of your family and guests. Without a knife, fork or spoon. Experience here the child-friendly eating food with your hands. With a dinner in Mogogo a fun night is guaranteed.

The food was delicious and the service also very good just like the Ethiopian wines! There is a personal touch to everything, not only the internal design and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We have followed this place from chinatown. The new location in Prinsestraat is super nice and the atmosphere fantastic. My wife and me are addicted to the food: rich, healthy, spicy and very original. The owner is very friendly and charming. The only downside is that it can be a bit slow, so be patient and order wine.

Unfortunately...We are new in The Hague and wanted to try Ethiopian food. We took the 3 course menu. The service was slow and not very friendly. Also the food was not what we expected, not the real njera (sour pancake), and the meat and vegetables were not very tasty. What a pity, because I don't think The Hague has many Ehtiopian or Eritrean places.
