I had been trying to get to this restaurant for some time having previously been to Monsieur Favel's other restaurant in Aix and found it to be excellent. I had always found it full so I was surprised that it was so quiet this evening. In fact this is the only reason I have marked it down slightly as somewhat lacking in atmosphere. The food was great as was the service. A particular delight was the opening course of fish soup with crispy egg. Terrific.

A very short menu selection with a moderate wine list yet done professionally and with care. Limited number of serving staff who were very accommodating but simply required to do too much - give them another supporting staff!
A finely crafted, creative meal featuring local fish. Two price fixe menus are available, one with four courses, one with six. Portion sizes are modest, but with two amuse bouches and petit fours, it was plenty enough food (and I am a big eater). Service was excellent, this restaurant is at the very top tier in Aix-en-Provence.

Il s'agit du second restaurant du Chef Mickaël Féval et de son épouse Olivia sur Aix en Provence. 2 ans et demi après l'ouverture de leur premier restaurant étoilé depuis 2017, ils ont confié la barre de ce nouveau restaurant tout poisson à Julien Courtin qui travaille aux côtés de Mickaël depuis presque 10 ans et qui était déjà en charge du poisson dans le restaurant étoilé de Poisson dont Mickaël était chef à Paris (Antoine Paris XVI). Julien y propose une cuisine délicate, gastronomique et inventive qui révèle toutes les subtilités de la mer !
