7/10Loved the atmosphere. Food was good but a bit pricey. Service was good, the chef came out to answer our questions.

8/10We have been coming to Bad Gastein for years and always make The Bellevue Alm our special evening out because we love the chair lift, the sledge run (sadly often no longer open), the setting, the fondues! However, it has recently slightly lost its appeal as it seems to have lost some of its rustic charm with white table cloths and - where was the game where you hammer in the nail?! A little disappointed with being charged 2euros per jug of tap water... and unfortunately the light above our table was so bright that we asked for it to be turned off (which couldnt be done) but the staff kindly covered it with a couple of napkins! We probably should have just taken out the bulb! We will carry on coming, but please don't lose the charm due to popularity!

7.5/10A little disappointed this time - we have come here every year and this time we felt the service was inattentive and we were overcharged

10/10An amazing place - gorgeous food and very friendly service and owner - all perfect - BUT we sort of where the only “normal” non Dutch family in a bulk of not really well behaving Dutch arriving with 16 / 20 and more persons for one big loud tables - it felt like being in the wrong film for us which made us leave a bit head over heals. I know the restaurant is not responsible for their guests but bus groups we did not really expect their

9/10Unique place up in the hill. A must to visit if you are in Bad Gastein. The food and atmosphere are so good. And a bonus to take the sledges back down.

8/10Charming restaurant with nice atmosphere. But it was very busy so the service was slow. We had traditional cheese fondue. A fun tradition to taste, but hard to tell if the kitchen was good. Bu all in all worth a visit. An an extra plus for the rodel ride home down the slopes!

3.5/10We arrived five minutes before the seating. We were met with a very (!) stressed waiter who instead of greeting us asked acted very rude. He asked for our name(s) and we provided him with our first name and showed him a copy of our reservation. He could not find us on the list but instead of acknowleding that he seated us at a table right in front of the kitchen door and without chairs enough for all of us while being very annoyed with us and our presence. We waited 15 min. To get attention from the waiter (still no one said welcome to us). After a while we could move to our table as they’ve must have found us by our last name. We got a new waiter which did good but after a while the other waiter at the door came back to us and aggresively explained to us that it was our mistake that he did not Seat us correctly in the beginning. We were five women and we felt like that waiters behaviour were inappropriate.

8/10It would be good if it´s clearly presented when booking that there is a fee of 9 euro per person for taking the lift up to the restaurant so that it does not come as a surprise.

5.5/10We arrived at the one man chair lift only to find that it was not working as they had stopped it 2 days earlier. I made my reservation online and they had all my contact details, but nobody contacted us to inform us that the chair lift was no longer running. Only after ringing the restaurant were we informed of this. We were then told we would need to order a taxi to get up to the restaurant. We ordered a taxi and we’re charged 35 euros for a 2 minute journey up to the restaurant. We could not go down on the sledge’s either due to lack of snow, this I could understand as they have no control over the weather but the chair lift was totally under their control. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone.

10/10We’ve just had such a lovely evening at this restaurant! Getting there (and back!) by one man chair lift made the experience even more special! Unfortunately the toboggan run was closed for homeward journey, due to lack of snow! We pre-ordered cheese fondue and this was so delicious with a great variety of salads and vegetables etc. Really lovely staff who made us feel so welcome. Gorgeous traditional Austrian wooden chalet, so cosy. Really recommend.

10/10Friendly service and good food. Cosy place to have a pre-dinner drink in front of the open fireplace in the middle of the cottage. We had a birthday, and because of that, our table was set with a tablecloth and candlelights. Great fun to take the trip down the hill on the small sled.

10/10This is an experience !!!! I recommend the restaurant 100%. First of all you came up by a nostalgic one-person chair lift , and as soon as you enter the restaurant its magic atmosphere will warm you up. Fireplace , wood and live Tyrolese music . Than comes the food . DELICIOUS !!!!!! Well done , super professional and organized stuff . Not missable ❤️
