10/10We chose Montagu’s Mews to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Very nice and quiet place. Tried both tasting menus and both very tasty and brilliantly composed. All personal very nice and friendly. Had to finish experience in a bit of a harry and asked to speed up the rest of the menu and dishes were coming one after another in no time. Very glad we visited this restaurant, very grateful to the personal and would happily come again!

10/10The restaurant is an absolutely stunning establishment with impeccable service. The modern and cozy decor creates a welcoming atmosphere. Our meal was absolutely delicious, and Anthony was indispensable in helping us with the perfect wine pairing. Highly recommended!

10/10Just exceptional service, quality of food and beautiful surroundings. Our waitress Suzanne was outstanding, very knowledgeable about the food and wine, nothing was too much trouble. It was my husbands Birthday and there was a nice treat at the end with 'Happy Birthday' engraved free chocolates. Possibly the best vegetarian main course I have ever had. The ravioli and asparagus was heavenly.

10/10We enjoyed the vegetarian tasting menu. It was probably the most special dining experience we had during our trip to England.

8.5/10The wine list is very poorly curated. The nearby Olive Tree is far superior food. The bread course was the absolute low point. Excellent service and location though.

9.5/10The food was absolutely delightful, balanced, flavourful and well put together. We had a fantastic time, only thing that was slightly disappointing was the wait to pay the bill, but that’s easily forgiven! Thank you!

9/10A very relaxing little restaurant inside The Cresent Hotel. Service is impeccable and food quality is top notch. They even accommodated us in ordering certain items from the lunch menu in the evening. The only drawback here to prevent it from a perfect score would be the less than usual cocktail selection on the drinks menu.

18C writer and women’s education advocate Elizabeth Montagu lends her name to this restaurant set inside the old carriage houses of her former home. The estate is now the Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa and an extensive garden separates the main hotel from the restaurant, making for a lovely early evening stroll in good weather. The menu showcases seasonal produce from the south west, such as Whaddon Grove Farm lamb, with the quality of the ingredients shining through in well-honed dishes.
